My family and I have been producing our unique range of high quality curds, jams, preserves, marmalades and chutneys for over 25 years. It all started back in 1981 when we found ourselves with a surplus of eggs from our farm. Not wishing them to go to waste, my husband Tom encouraged me to use the eggs to make a batch of my Lemon Curd (his favourite!), and to see if I could sell it to local shops in nearby towns.
Mrs Darlington
A perfect combination of Apples & Garlic, great as a marinade for chicken or the BBQ.
We simmer the plums and apples slowly to create the wonderful fruity taste - just divine with cheese.
This traditionally English chutney takes shepherds pie or salads to an entirely different level.
The traditional cranberry sauce but did you know that it isn't just for turkey, why not try it on a piece of baked brie.
Sometimes served with salmon fillets, steak or even grilled vegetables, creamed horseradish sauce is a great alternative to other condiments.
We made this recipe especially to compliment paté and game.
All Mrs Darlington's traditional English jams come from their family recipe books. They started their range of jams over twenty five years ago with the launch of their delicious strawberry jam - still the biggest seller today. They really are 'just like your grandma used to make' and are made only with the finest...
