A tangy sweet light red wine with a rich damson aroma and...
Cinder toffee, or honeycomb toffee, is a traditional treat...
Made with floor malted barley in the time honoured fashion, Academy Ale is a dark, full bodied, traditional rich and malty beer, flavoured with three varieties of English whole hops. It takes its name from Thomas Slee's famed maths Academy, the village of Tirrill's only intellectual claim to fame. In the 1820's it was said Mr Slee's Academy was renowned country wide and considered an equal to Oxford and Cambridge for the study of mathematics. By whom this was said remains unknown.
